A Divine General of Heaven, he served as the vanguard in front of the tent of the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King, the commander of the central army.

Possessing immense strength, he could lift high mountains and split large stones. His weapon was the Xuanhua Axe.

He once descended to the mortal realm with the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King to attack Mount Huaguo, becoming the first to battle fiercely with Sun Wukong.

He was commanded to lead the initial charge, but ultimately his weapon was split into two by Sun Wukong’s Golden Hoop, leading to a defeated retreat.

After suffering a major blow to his morale, he was nearly executed by the Heavenly King Li, but fortunately, he was spared due to the intercession of Nezha, the Third Lotus Prince.
