“Monkey King” Animation

The “Monkey King” animation is a series produced by the Central Television Animation Department, first aired on January 26, 2010, with a total of 52 episodes directed by Chen Jiaqi. The animation tells the story of a stone monkey born from a celestial stone on Flower Fruit Mountain. Guided by the old monkey king, the stone monkey gradually becomes the Monkey King and decides to go to sea to learn skills. Eventually, he arrives at Mount Fangcun to learn from Patriarch Bodhi and makes new friends such as Red Boy, Jade Rabbit, and Ginseng Fruit, eventually obtaining his name—Sun Wukong.
