Shen Monkey(申猴):
In Chinese, it is pronounced as: shēn hóu,Written as:

The Shen Monkey, one of the Six Ding and Six Jia, holds the ninth position in the Chinese zodiac. People born in the Year of the Monkey are humorous, witty, lively, popular, fame-oriented, possessive, responsive, confident, agile, open, and generous in spirit.
This ranking reflects the ancient people’s profound insights into animal behaviors and natural laws. The monkey’s agility and intelligence are second to none in the animal kingdom. Skilled in climbing and jumping, they move quickly and with great strategy. The “Shen hour” (from 3 to 5 PM) is when the sun shines brightest and all things are most active, perfectly matching the monkey’s vivacious nature, thus earning it the ninth spot.
In the long history of agricultural civilization, though monkeys were not directly involved in farming, their presence was frequently observed in various corners of human society, becoming an integral part of culture and folklore. Known for their cleverness, monkeys are often portrayed as symbols of wisdom and bravery in folktales.
In Feng Shui, monkeys are commonly used as talismans, symbolizing intelligence and flexibility. Placing monkey-shaped ornaments at home is believed to bring good fortune.
