The Golden Hairpin was originally a magical implement of the Queen Mother, crafted from gold into a hairpin that served as a personal adornment. This treasure possesses infinite magical power, capable of transforming into any desired object at will and can also be used as a weapon to attack enemies with formidable strength. In the TV series *The Matchmaker of Celestial Immortals*, the Golden Hairpin was given to the Seven Fairy Sisters for their use and later left with Dong Yong for protection. It was stolen by Zhang Qiaozui who misused it, causing calamity among humans. Consequently, the Queen Mother sealed its divine powers, rendering the hairpin ineffective and mundane. Later, the Queen Mother reclaimed and unsealed the hairpin, restoring it to the Seven Fairy Sisters to remain on Earth as a national treasure.
The Golden Hairpin possesses a sentient nature and harbors boundless magical power, capable of manipulating weather, transforming objects into gold or silver, and summoning all manner of treasures. It can also unleash numerous poisonous gases. Its power is limitless, granting its bearer the ability to alter and control all things. It is an omnipotent tool capable of generating massive energy to attack enemies, inflicting severe injuries or death. The powers it wields are transformative, surpassing even the Thunder God and the Goddess of Lightning. It can even conjure non-existent living beings or any desired objects from nothing, gathering infinite power and capabilities from around the world. It is primarily used for national protection and to ensure eternal peace.
However, the Golden Hairpin has its weaknesses. It has different incantations for use during the day and at night. Consequently, the Seven Fairy Sisters and others only know the daytime incantation. Despite its immense power, it cannot sustain prolonged battles and its potency is limited, unable to withstand the mighty ritual implements of Celestial Court deities, such as the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King’s pagoda. The Seven Fairy Sisters can only manage to defend themselves for a short time, and additionally, the Queen Mother possesses the incantation to seal the hairpin’s magical power.
