“Martial arts techniques” is a broad term that is typically used to describe a series of practices and techniques for the cultivation of the body, mind, and spirit. It may have different meanings in different cultures and contexts, but most often, it involves some systematic training methods.
For example, the following varieties:
1. Qigong: Qigong is a method of cultivation in traditional Chinese culture, aimed at enhancing and regulating the “qi” (life energy) within the body through breathing, posture, and meditation. Practitioners of Qigong believe that these exercises can improve health, enhance mental states, and achieve higher spiritual realms.
2. Martial arts techniques: In Chinese martial arts, martial arts techniques often refer to a series of training methods that enhance physical strength, flexibility, and endurance. These exercises may include basic skills, set routines, and internal strength training (such as in Tai Chi), to improve martial arts skills and physical fitness.
3. Internal and external techniques: Internal techniques generally refer to practices that enhance internal energy and mental strength through breathing, meditation, and conscious control, while external techniques focus on improving physical strength and skills. Both are often combined to comprehensively enhance the practitioner’s abilities.

5. Yoga techniques: In Indian tradition, various postures, breathing techniques, and meditation methods of yoga can also be regarded as a form of martial arts techniques, aimed at achieving self-realization and physical health through the integration of body and spirit.
Each type of martial arts technique has its unique philosophical background and specific practice methods, and usually requires long-term consistent practice to see significant effects. Depending on the interests and needs of the practitioner, an appropriate form of martial arts techniques can be chosen for cultivation.
